The overall objective of the project is to promote the role of Marine Protected Areas as key tools to prevent biodiversity loss and maintain the integrity of marine and coastal ecosystems in the face of the heavy influence that the global phenomenon of climate change is producing and will produce. The objective of maintaining biodiversity and natural ecosystems is to strengthen the management and networking of protected areas. The objective is to make different actors cooperate: Marine Protected Areas, local economic operators such as professional fishermen and recreational divers, local and regional authorities but also scientists and citizens for the implementation of specific programmes of "adaptation" to climate change.
