The PIM (Small Islands of the Mediterranean) is an NGO coordinated by the French Conservatoire du littoral, which promotes the protection of island spaces through concrete actions in the field and encourages the exchange of skills and knowledge between managers and specialists in the Mediterranean area.

To achieve its founding goals, the association relies on its network and its advisory council composed of resource persons representative of different scientific and technical fields and Mediterranean countries.
