For years, the Management Consortium has constantly monitored the size and characteristics of the tourism activities that are developed within the WAP in order to compare the trends of these activities with the results of environmental monitoring. In this way, the Management Consortium has constantly updated data that allow to promptly identify any correlation between tourism activities and environmental heritage protection. In addition, the high level of detail of the monitoring of tourism activities makes it possible to have a wide and detailed information base that makes it possible to adopt the best management policies and also to have support material for sharing with territorial stakeholders.
